 when you are following the low calorie diet for few months our body adapts to the low caloric diet and starts defending itself against further weight loss in simple language it means when the calories your body is burning is equal to the calories you're eating in a day that is calories in versus calories out is same.

  • First way is to further reduce the calorie intake for example if you were on a 1500 calories diet then cut down few calories start taking 1400 calories a day and then further reduce it day by day this could be done easily by reducing your daily carb intake Now reduction in carb means that your body has to burn more fat to provide you with energy and this will restart the weight loss process.

  • Second way is to change your fitness routine if you have been walking or running on treadmill for these past months then come out of your fitness comfort zone try something new or more intense if you were only working for 30 minutes then change the routine and start walking for 15 minutes and jog for the next 15 minutes if you were running for 20 minutes then change it to 10 minutes of running with 10 minutes of high intensity exercise or anaerobics this change will boost your metabolism and help the weight loss bladder and all those not doing any exercise should start indulging in at least 15 to 30 minutes of fast work to kick start your metabolism.  

  • Third way is to increase more protein intake to burn proteins our body needs more calories as compared to burning fats or carbs proteins reduce our appetite and keeps us full and satisfied for a longer time they also prevent muscle mass loss so start taking lentils and beans in your daily diet track everything you have been eating and make changes accordingly in the time to begin losing weight again.

  • Fourth way is by managing stress levels stress increases the cortisol production that results in increased belly fat storage and stored weight loss i know we all have a very little control over our stress levels but it can still be managed by indulging in deep breathing exercises or yoga.

  • Fifth way is by eating more fiber including more fiber in your diet helps us consume less calories fiber keeps us full for a long time and reduces our appetite for example having a portion of fresh fruits instead of a glass of juice or having a portion of salad before meats have more of chia seeds basil seeds or flax seeds these seeds provided with a lot of protein and fiber and are proven to keep your stomach full for a longer time.

  • Sixth way is to eat more vegetables most of the vegetables are low in calories but high in fiber and water content eating more veggies will provide you with important nutrients and reduce the urge to overeat.

  •  Seventh way is changing your sleeping pattern not getting enough sleep means increased levels of cortisol which results in slow metabolism and fat accumulation so aim for at least eight hours of sleep for a good mental emotional and physical health

  • Eighth way is to be as active as possible by this i mean changing your posture by doing day to day work this is known as non exercise activity thermogenesis or neat for example if you're sitting and cutting the vegetables then instead stand and do that and if you're lying down and watching tv then instead sit and bought your metabolic rate increases by approximately 50 percent when you're sitting and approximately 90

when you're standing so all these small changes promote weight loss and help get rid of the weight matron splatter ninth way is by consuming more water tea or coffee plain water increases our metabolism by 25 to 30 percent tea or coffee on the other hand have caffeine which increases our fat burning process and metabolism start having my basal green tea drink it will provide you with caffeine protein and fiber and all these three will help you with the weight loss platter issue.
